Infusion Center

Intermountain Rheumatology began its Biologic Infusion Center in October 2001, the first of its kind in the community. Biologic therapies have proven to be essential and successful treatments for inflammatory arthritis, bowel, and skin disease. Remicade, Rituxan, and Orencia are improving the lives of thousands of patients, and new agents are on the horizon. In addition to the biologic therapies available we also offer infusion therapies for the treatment of Osteoporosis. These therapies include Boniva and Reclast.

The Infusion Center currently operates five days a week, and is staffed by Registered Nurses. Comfortable reclining chairs and televisions help infusion time pass quickly. A Rheumatologist and/or one of our Physician Assistants is available on site during infusion hours.
